Team Description:
We are a small team consisting of 4 boys and 1 girl. As our team name says all of us are veterans to the FLL program although this is the first time we are in a team together. We work well & have fun together and help each other when one is in need. When problems arise we negotiate solutions through collaborating. To keep our spirits up, we have mini competitions such as how many times we can get our program to work. In our community there are nine teams. With our gracious professionalism, we have also helped the other kids in different teams with their problems. Thanks to our coaches, parents, Weiser brothers, La Crescent School staff support and people all over the community; we have acquired a research award. We have also have managed to get first place in our division and have also done well in state competition.

COLLAPSIBLE/FOLDABLE LUMINOUS CANE HAS EVERYTHING FROM:
String of solar lights through the cane for maximum light.
Ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacle.
A solar motion sensor to detect a wave of a hand or motion in the night which triggers the solar lights to turn on.
A switch to turn on the sensors.
A Vibration Alarm sensor with a speaker for the blind which releases beeps when roughly hit. On sudden impact, it creates a loud noise to notify others about the fall which triggers and dial 911
An interchangeable rubber grip on the bottom allows different types of grips for different terrains.
Spikes automatically come down to the bottom with the ultrasonic sensor for icy/snow conditions
Flashing colored light for the deaf to warn them of an upcoming obstacle.
