The team from Theresia lyceum is an enthusiastic team of students in the age of 12, 13 and 14 years old.
They all attend different classes and did not know each other before participating the First Lego League. In a very short time they learned to form a team, to divide the tasks that had to be done and had a lot of fun.
This resulted in a first price in the regional finales and a price for the best research in the Benelux finales. This price stimulated the team to enter de Global Innovation awards.

Brief Submission Description:
We developed a personal grip to put on your rollator, tennis racket or knife.
During our research we discovered that seniors often have problems holding things. There are anatomic grips, but these grips are not that good. We developed a personal grip witch you can easily adjust to your own hand. So you don’t have to go to a doctor or specialist. You can just do it at home and you can get it in every colour or pattern you want.
Our grip is based on a cylinder filled with silicone gel with on the outside a thermoplastic.
First you put the cylinder in hot water for a few minutes to soften the silicone. Then you remove the cylinder from the hot water and let it cool down a bit. Now you put the cylinder over your rollator, golf club, knife or fork and hold it firm with your hand. Your grip is now taking the form of your hand, after a minute you let loose and let the grip cool down so your grip is fixated.
And now you have your own personal grip, in your own colours, ready for use.
