Team Description:
Two seniors, 2 juniors and 6 sophomores compose the Guild of Enthusiasts in Academics and Robotics Scholars from Cavite National Science HS - Philippines. As first timers, together we want to make sure that we work as one. And as our name implies, we all enjoy engineering as well as our academics and robotics as a TEAM. We work hand-in-hand to help our teammates in need, we never refuse to do good and aid each other whole-heartedly.
Together with our coach, Ms. Jennylou Pangilinan, we always make sure that we are enjoying what we are doing because she wants us to excel. When someone feels down, we boost each other’s fighting spirit. To finish our project as soon as possible, our coach divided us into groups: Robot Building and Programming, Project Construction, and Documentation. This is what our coach keep telling us, “We will win as a team because We Engage, We Explore, We Excel!"

Brief Submission Description:
As men start to grow older, they begin to have problems enjoying their hobbies. According to surveys, one of the most loved activities by seniors is taking care of plants.
Our team, CavSci GEARS, would like to give a perfect senior solution for plant enthusiasts. Thus, we designed a robot buddy which can help elders to do their hobby without hassle. Without applying too much effort and force, gardening will again be fun to do. With HERB (Herbal Enthusiasts’ Robot Buddy), elders can continue their hobby, contribute to clean air and even earn a living through it.
